Entry requirements
These qualifications are designed for learners who are typically aged 18 and above.
The entry profile for learners is likely to include at least one of the following:

Relevant Level 3 Diploma or equivalent qualification

GCE Advanced level in 2 subjects or equivalent qualification

Mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)

Qualification structure
The OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

Duration and delivery
The Culinary Arts Professional Program is designed as a one-year program, which includes 6 months of professional training followed by 6 months of industry internship. This structure allows students to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical work experience in the culinary and hospitality sector.
The program is flexible in delivery and can be conducted through face-to-face classes, practical kitchen training, lectures, tutorials, seminars, and online learning where appropriate. All training and internship arrangements are delivered and supervised by approved training centres to ensure students receive industry-relevant skills and professional exposure.

Progression
The Culinary Arts Professional Program at CSEI Academy is a 6-month professional training program designed for individuals who want to build a successful career in the culinary and hospitality industry.
During this program, students will learn professional cooking techniques, food preparation, kitchen operations, food safety, and international culinary standards through practical and theoretical learning guided by experienced chefs and trainers.
After completing the 6-month training, students will also undergo a 6-month internship placement in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality establishments. This internship allows students to gain real industry experience, improve their practical skills, and understand professional kitchen environments.

Upon successful completion of the program and internship, students will have the opportunity to progress to a Higher Diploma level qualification, which can provide access to internationally recognized education standards and further career opportunities in the global hospitality industry.
